I’m an engineer living in Belfast, Ireland.
I work mostly with TypeScript, and have done for around eight years. I also spend time with Go and Python, with a particular soft spot for Go.
Today I’m building CutWise, an AI agent for cutting weight and dieting.
I’ve built a handful of products and side projects over the years - both SaaS and OSS, including Nuddge, QuitShark, IconAI, and Zinc.
I also co-founded and lead Samsa Health as CTO, an AI MedTech system that supported clinical pathway improvements across two private hospitals in Ireland and was selected as a winner in the HiHi-AI Call of 2025. I built an OSS library used in the project, for extracting structured data from Healthlink-style PDF documents called Refrax.
